WHS Library, Chrome, and Canvas Corner Follow the WHS page :   Students at WHS have been doing a lof of choice reading this year using their in-class libraries.  One student even asked for a way to share her love of books with her classmates (amazing!).  Challenge (gladly) accepted.  A list.ly was created on our WHS Library page, so let the sharing commence.  To get there click here:  http://bit.ly/WHSlibrary  and pan down until you see the 'WHS Best Reads' section (it has a blue background).  Select "Add to List" to share your favorites, and give 'thumbs up' to the ones you have enjoyed. Library tip of the week :  It is almost summer, and time to gear up for hands on learning activities and courses. WHS Library, Chrome, and Canvas Corner Follow the WHS Tech page :   Learning how to do a college level academic search before graduating high school is a goal of many of our students.  Utilizing the search engine EBSCO, which many colleges use, is a great start.  Here is a helpful handout to get you started:  http://bit.ly/WHSebsco Library tip of the week :  It is back!   SYNC, a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+, returned on April 27, 2017, giving away two complete audiobook downloads a week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes for FREE.   In 2016, 30 titles were given away over 15 weeks...and this year it looks like 17 titles are on the calendar.  WHS students can listen to audio books on their Chromebooks or phones, just go to  http://www.audiobooksync.com/  to get started.  This week:   Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
