Free Tutoring & Resume Help for Anyone with a WCCLS library card The Beaverton City Library offers trained volunteer Homework Helpers ( http://bit.ly/wcclshomework ) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. We do recommend that students call the Teen Desk at 503.350.4001 to check ahead for availability. Additionally , through the Washington County Cooperative Library Services, we also offer Brainfuse , a free live tutoring service ( http://bit.ly/wcclshelpnow ). LIVE online tutoring help from 1 to 10pm daily: Simply select your grade and subject and chat live with someone to get homework help. Excellent Events in our Area Author William Ritter  will visit the Sunset High Media Center to tell teens about his writing process and how his bestselling mystery series  Jackaby  came to be.  William Ritter is an Oregon educator and author.  Copies of Jackaby are available for free in September from the Cedar Mill Library for those committed to attending the program on  Oct. 11th.    Parallel Worlds Writing Contest Student submissions starting October 1.  All entries must be received at Beaverton City Library Main or the Murray Scholls branch by 8 p.m. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2018 Some WHS students also learned about these resources this week: Click on the title for more information.
