WHS Library, Chrome, and Canvas Corner

Canvas: Calling all Wildcats:  we want to stay connected with you!  Consider joining our new Wildcats Alumni page: http://bit.ly/alumniwhs for updates on events, alumni activities, and more.  Go Wildcats!

Library: Many of our students can't check out books from the library due to long standing fines.  Starting this Saturday, they can get that library fine off their chest and do a good deed at the same time! Donate non-perishable food items to either Beaverton City Library location during National Library Week 4/7-4/15 and you'll be forgiven $2 in fines for every item you bring in. You can eliminate up to $20 in fines. Additionally, if you bring in long overdue, billed items, those charges will be removed.

Digital Citizenship:  Students share a wealth of information on their social media accounts, so a reminder to run a social media check is pretty much always a great idea. Signing up for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc., comes with default settings.  Especially when considering one's digital footprint, it is important to change those settings to 'private', and to insure your information stays safe.  Click on the link to discover how the University of Texas at Austin's IDwise center suggests cleaning up your the profiles for the major social media sites:   http://bit.ly/idwiseprofile
