Digital Citizenship tip of the week:   Our teens live in a culture of sharing that has forever changed the concept of privacy. In a world where everyone is connected and anything created online can be copied, pasted, and sent to thousands of people in a heartbeat, privacy starts to mean something different than simply guarding personal or private information. Click the link to learn about not only how to protect your privacy, but how to take care of your digital footprint:http://bit.ly/2hMhJwa

Sprint 1Milion Project:  Activation DayThe Beaverton School District has been awarded 2,000 hotspots from the Sprint 1Million Project (more info and forms can be found at:  http://bit.ly/BSDSprint ), which will provide free wireless service for up to 4 years to eligible high school students in grades 9-12 who do not have adequate internet access at home.  If you do not currently have reliable internet access at home, you may qualify for this program.

Students will be receiving emails if they have been selected to receive a device.  If selected, their parents will need to complete a consent form (found in the library or here:  http://bit.ly/BSDSprint ), and will be able to pick up their device on Back to School Night.
