WHS Library, Chrome, and Canvas Corner
Canvas:  Parent login to Canvas is just around the corner, hopefully it will be ready by next week.  Until then, one great thing about Canvas is the 24 hour help tutorials.  Though we are pleased the students are using these, if you could please communicate with them that they should not be creating help desk tickets in Canvas, but contact their teacher or library support personnel.  Because they are high school students, Canvas 1 support is unable to respond to any student generated help desk tickets.  Thanks!

Sprint 1Milion Project:  The Beaverton School District has been awarded 2,000 hotspots from the Sprint 1Million Project (more info and forms can be found at:  http://bit.ly/BSDSprint ), which will provide free wireless service for up to 4 years to eligible high school students in grades 9-12 who do not have adequate internet access at home.  If you do not currently have reliable internet access at home, you may qualify for this program.

Library:  1 on 1 Homework assistance?
The Beaverton City Library offers trained volunteer Homework Helpers (http://bit.ly/wcclshomeworkon Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. We do recommend that students call the Teen Desk at 503.350.4001 to check ahead for availability. Additionally, through the Washington County Cooperative Library Services, we also offer Brainfuse, a free live tutoring service (http://bit.ly/wcclshelpnow).
