WHS Library, Chrome, and Canvas Corner

Library:  Stressing about where you'll go when you finish high school? Come join us at the Beaverton Main Library Meeting Room B from 5p-6p on Jan. 24th to learn how to choose a college that meets your needs in academics, location and cost. Grades 9-12. Family welcome! Registration required, so follow this link to save your space:  http://bit.ly/collegeregister

Library: "Friends don't lie."  If reading that immediately brought to mind the show Stranger Things, then you might enjoy heading to the Main Beaverton Library on January 30th (Meeting Room A between 6p-7p) to take part in the Stranger Things Fandom Fest.  Test your knowledge with trivia, create a themed craft, and enjoy a waffle (or two)! Free for grades 6-12.

Digital Citizenship:  Do you know what a 'selfie' is?  Have you taken one?  If so, you are not alone.  'Selfies' have become an increasingly bigger part of the identity students are building online.  Having a conversation about which pictures students post, how they feel about the feedback, and how to develop a healthy self-image (both online and off) great ways to support their digital citizenship.  Click this link for more information:  http://bit.ly/digiselfimage
